trust me. i've heard this question countless times in the past year. epoch? like epic? how do you spell it? what does it mean? & as much as i despise explaining myself, i feel that epoch needs a teeny tiny explanation in order to be completely appreciated. so, the past two years of my life has been a complete whirlwind, i met the man of my dreams, planned a wedding, had a horrid job that made me cry myself sick on a regular basis, we moved, painted, decorated, furnished & as these two years have passed, i am now a happily married woman, in the midst of starting my own business, something that makes me truly, scream-into-a-pillow happy, i've also started a new day job, one that i arrive & leave smiling... all in all, i am in the middle of my own little personal epoch. an epoch, a point in time distinguished by a particular event, say, like a wedding, or a birth, or a graduation, retirement, moving, you get the idea. these are all super important moments throughout our lives & where i come in, is the paper trail. my goal is to capture the true essence of life's special celebrations. i want to honor life's landmark events through inspiration & creation on paper. because the first impression is everything.
the epoch paperie blog will house pictures & thoughts of all of my projects, along with snippets of random things that make me smile & i think are worth sharing ... along with some personal nonsense about me too.
